Logical Position’s (LP) steady growth means happy employees as it was recently recognized as one of Oregon’s top workplaces to work for by The Oregonian newspaper. The Portland search engine marketing agency — who now also offers public relation services — ranked number 8 among 50 companies in the small business category, in only its fourth year of business.
According to The Oregonian, who teamed up with WorkplaceDynamics LLP, the results reflect employees’ emotional happiness, value and worth within the company, workplace dynamics, stability, growth and a strong sense of values and ethics from their company.
“Being able to find a company that truly appreciates your commitment, values, overall happiness and growth is very difficult — yet these traits are exemplified every day in the workplace dynamic at Logical Position,” said Sheila Healy, Senior Internet Marketing Specialist at Logical Position. “LP’s ability to continually grow its client base and service offerings, while simultaneously advancing its employees through innovative, fun and collaborative efforts makes coming to work exciting.”
The results are formulated from a range of answers on a seven-point scale putting into account everything from pay and benefits to working conditions and corporate leadership. Companies are sorted based on employee size into three categories; top 10 large companies (500+ employees), top 15 mid-size companies (150-399 employees), and top 50 small companies (fewer than 150 employees). This year, 138 companies participated with more than 43,500 employees available for the surveys.
